This timeline contains all known, notable dates of events in Atharia between the year of birth, 0, and the current year, 3197.

0-999 - The Age of Birth

• 0 - The realm of Atharia was created in the Aether. The Origin Riftgate is created.
• 84 - The oldest mention of Darkscape is written and proves the existence of residence in the city
• 150 - The Library and Record Hall of Darkscape is founded. Its oldest records suggest Weavers controlled the city even this early.
• 256 - The Silver Nation is established in Darkscape.
• 407 - Djinni are first sighted.
• 507 - The Raxian Empire was founded in the city of Erdaschor.
• 945 - Darkscape quadruples in size after many years of work done by the Woven inhabitants.

1000-1999 - The Age of Discovery

• 1046 - Magic is discovered and the Runic Alphabet is created by the Weavers in the city of Darkscape. Shortly after, the entire Weaver race disappeared from Atharia, presumably to another realm through an uncharted rift.
• 1628 - The Doctrine was written.
• 1687 - The Raxian Empire has incorporated all of Raxus into its borders.
• 1776 - The Vae Alliance is founded and takes the city of Darkscape by force. Ekoe Ja'mor is slain and the city of Darkscape becomes the capital of the nation.
• 1834 - Sylar Katarus is born in the village of Kiamorus.
• 1848 - Sylar Katarus is drafted into the military of the Vae Alliance and trained as a battle mage.
• 1850 - Sylar Katarus murders one of his fellow soldiers and is relieved of military duty.
• 1854 - The High Court of Vae sentences all known members of the Cult of Shi to public execution. Shi Kotari awakens.
• 1856 - The Enlightened are formed from the remnants of the Cult of Shi. Construction of God's Patron in the Xaliath Trove begins.
• 1900 - The city of Xalia is taken by the Enlightened and the infamous Day of Life takes place. All of the citizens of Xalia are enslaved to Shi Kotari as Thralls.
• 1902 - High Priestess Alexzandra Kuro Abella of the Alliance of Vae declares war on the Enlightened, sparking the War of the Fallen.
• 1907 - With the execution of the last Silverling, the War of the Fallen ends and the Enlightened are deemed to be dead. Shi Kotari flees to God's Patron for the next thousand years.
• 1995 - Thaumaturgy was "invented" by Tre Folgn.

2000-2999 - The Age of Industry

• 2000 - The High Court of Vae, after a sixteen year long trial, declares that no entity of the Runic race is entitled to freedom.
• 2355 - It was declared by most nations, mainly bar the Raxian Empire, that Thaumaturgy is illegal for use on living creatures.
• 2442 - The Cult of Skaral was founded.
• 2849 - The Djinni Incident occured and the Cult of Skaral was disbanded.

3000-3197 (Current Year) - The Age of Warfare

• 3039 - The Battle of Green begins.
• 3041 - The Battle of Green ends. The Greensting Intolerance Act is enacted.
• 3073 - The Athariath Order, expecting a large increase of Elven population, increase the size of the Darkscape wall by 37.5%.
• 3096 - The Raxian Empire confiscates all Shardmetal fragments.
• 3192 - The Abyssal Riftgate to the realm of Abyssa is opened by the Athariath Order. Chaos Annihilants enter Atharia.
• 3194 - The Abyssal Riftgate, located in Darkscape, is captured by the Vae Alliance, sending the entire realm into chaos. The Athariath Order retreats, moving its capital city to Endo Xi.
• 3195 - The Sword of Ages is reforged from Shardmetal and is given a new holder.
